Is pain really that bad for us?

What if pain was an indication that you were on the right track and that it was a sign that things were coming back into balance?  Would you resist pain as much?  Would you welcome it as a sign of better things to come? In the past I have taught and believed that pain is the body’s way of telling us that something is out of balance and needs some attention.  Make some changes in your life and the pain should go away as you become balanced.

But I am ready to change that viewpoint slightly.  For example, what if you desired to live life with an open heart, to radiate love to all you encounter without fear; to give and receive love openly.  What if that meant that physically at the cellular level your body had to shift and move with the energy changes in order for this desire to be met?  This would mean that the pain of those cellular changes would in fact be a wonderful sign that you heart was indeed opening getting ready to live with a completely open heart.  It would be a welcome sign.   One that would be rejoiced instead of loathed.

What if you desired to live life in the 5D rather than in the mind/ego driven 3D world?  This would mean lots of massive energy shifts and the ensuing physical changes that go with these shifts.  Yes, more physical pain!  Would you resist the process by resisting the pain or just embrace it and rejoice in the obvious changes and that something is happening.

We are so conditioned to resist pain, to deny its existence but it can be a wonderful experience.  I know this sounds crazy but just shifting your perspective of pain slightly can in fact make it go away by helping you move through the pain very quickly.  If you accept that the pain means you are exactly where you need to be and is a sign that you are on the right track then it would all be OK wouldn’t it.

Another example, what if your desire was to change jobs or find the relationship of your dreams.  What if your life suddenly turned upside down and what may seem like a tragedy is in fact moving you closer to your dream.

“It is as it is, and as it should be”; these words can take the stress and uncertainty out of painful traumatic circumstances.  Accept and embrace where you are at and know that it is one step closer to your magnificence self.

When things don’t seem to be going to plan (but what does the mind know anyway!!)  maybe it is going perfectly to plan.  There is a bigger picture (or flow as I like to call it) going on in all of our lives.  Usually thought we just look at what is right in front of us (3D) and make judgements based on what we think is going on.  Trust is knowing that the next step will be there at every turn.  That we will be safe and that we are moving towards not only a greater understanding of what is going on but a magnificence that we can’t even dream of.

So next time you experience pain, heartache or stress, consider for a moment how perfect this is.  Don’t deny its existence; use it as fuel to take you to your next step.
