![]() When I am in the energetic flow of 5D (the 5th Dimension), ideas and action happen almost simultaneously, and I often have no logical understanding what the outcome of my actions might be. There is no traditional plan with steps carefully thought out, or lists written to ensure that the plan is managed correctly. There is no action plan where you know that once you have completed one step, that the next step will need doing, and then you predict what the next step will be, all leading to the predetermined goal that you have in mind. Instead there is just a ‘directive’ or idea, and action is taken straight away without questioning the outcome of where it is all leading. Although there is a knowingness or gentle feeling that I am on the right track. I have many examples of this in my hospital research job, where I might plan to work on a certain project that day, but then get totally drawn into something which I really didn’t think needed doing, and then it turns out that it was a valuable piece of work that someone asks for a short time later (which I could never have predicted with my logical mind!). I get a pat on the back for producing good work right when it was needed! The mind can’t operate in 5D like it did in the 3D world. The 3D mind uses logic, lists and planning of all the things it thinks it should be doing based on past experience and future expectations. In 5D using the “higher mind” there is an instantaneous flow going on. There really is no need to get upset if things don’t go to plan (according to the 3D mind), you are just tapping into the higher frequencies of 5D flow. If you allow the flow of your life to be present, it will lead you to something that may have never occurred to you before and works out perfectly! If this happens to you, notice the outcome and also how it feels. You may even notice the absence of thought. You are in the flow and just get on with the task without really thinking about it too much. What I call the ‘higher mind’ is operational in 5D. The higher mind could also be described as the soul mind, the mind of god or the one-mind. There are thoughts but they feel more like directives – they are clear and concise and just feel good. There is no questioning or going around and around with pros and cons, it is just a very strong thought or feeling about what to do next. There are no multitudes of choices; there is just the one path or flow. This can take some getting used to, with trial and error, before you can become aware of the wisdom and synchronicity of the higher mind. It is almost like the mind and heart have merged, and decisions are made from the heart without letting the lower mind or ego analyse or worry about what to do next. In 5D there is no monkey chatter or stress thoughts – or if there is on occasion, then the higher mind observes it and it doesn’t seem to be the only reality. It is like the higher mind observes the lower mind and just lets it be without being physically draw in to the thoughts as reality. Whereas in 3D the constant stress and chatter of the mind becomes the only reality and the body responds (through a stress response) and you become these lower mind thoughts. This is where we create our own pain and suffering, from the 3D mindset. It is just our reality and what we choose to believe is real that creates our stress and suffering. But we all have our own view of reality. The same situation for a group of people will have different meaning for each of the individuals. We all choose our own reality and choose how we decide this is going to affect our lives. So if you are operating from the higher mind (in 5D), then you will see the events that are playing out as something great and perfect, whereas, operating from the lower mind the same events may seem bad, wrong, unpleasant and you will try and fix and control what is happening. In 5D there is no wrong or right, everything is perfectly timed and leading you to exactly where you need to be. Even though you might not see the exact plan mapped out in front of you of how to get to your goal, there is a feeling and knowingness that you are on the right path. In 5D the higher mind communicates (or thinks) without words. Often there are pictures or feelings or just directives. This really takes some getting used to. This is why it is so difficult to articulate or explain what 5D feels like because it is nearly impossible to translate the 5D higher mind communication into the 3D thoughts or words to express them. It is like speaking a different language where there is no translation for the words. We do our best to describe in ways that are familiar to the 3D awareness but it really does not do the 5D insights justice. The simplicity of the 5D awareness also makes this translation difficult. Our 3D minds would expect that enlightenment or ascension would have some complicated path or set of rules that need to be followed to get there, but it is the opposite. The simplicity of the 5th Dimension also makes it difficult to explain in a 3D way, because there really isn’t much to explain at all! It is about knowing who you are, loving who you are, being prepared to be who you are, stepping into the flow of your life and then just being connected with that flow in a gentle way in every moment. If you ever have a choice or something that you are worrying about, you simply put this in the flow. This is not handing your problem over to a higher power that is outside of yourself, this is handing your problem over to your life flow, the one that you have created through your existence. Hand it over to your flow and feel the relaxation and peace filter over you. I like to imagine the flow as an energetic stream or pathway in front of me. I visualise my problem being placed in the flow and just know that it is working out just perfectly. There are no choices in 5D, just one pathway which the higher mind in its infinite wisdom knows exactly what to do with. This transition from 3D thinking to using the 5D mind can feel like you are literally “losing your mind”…. which can be quite amusing if you relax into it. Have fun “losing your mind”!

AuthorI believe that knowing who we uniquely are and how we operate, holds the key to living an authentic and joyful life. Once we genuinely and deeply know who we are, we can begin to BE who we are, and then BECOME who we were always destined to be. howthemindworks.blog
