The energy of 2015

2015 is upon us.  Happy New Year!

In numerology 2015 is a very abundant year, when you add up all the numbers of the year it reduces to the number 8 (2+0+1+5=8).  8 is the number of abundance.  Remember, abundance comes not only in the form of money, but love, joy, family and friends can also be received in abundant amounts. 

The number 8 also has the energy of chasing you tail.  Sometimes I feel that the number 8 is forever going around in circles – you can imagine the infinity sign as the number 8 on its side – there is no end or beginning.  But if you manifest from your core (your true self) then you won’t feel this 'going around in circles energy'.  Otherwise if you look for abundance outside of yourself, you might find yourselves getting dizzy with all the opportunities, not knowing where to turn next.  Your powerful inner centre will keep the 8 grounded and flowing.   It is the year to finally put our feet on the ground and action our dreams and desires.  Sounds like fun!
 
A few weeks ago I projected forward into the 2015 energies.   What I felt was a very fluid energy.  I then felt into the 2014 energy (and previous years) and they felt like a ‘sand’ energy in comparison.  With the ‘sand’ energy it felt like I could mark points in the sand to represent planned events.  I could draw in the sand and create pictures and a map of what the year would look like.  I can’t seem to do that with 2015 when I enter its energy.   At first this feels a little unsettling but the deeper I felt into this fluid energy of 2015 the more it made sense. 

It is a year of letting go of expectations of how things should look.  There is surrender energy here, BUT importantly it is not the energy of being a victim and letting life dictate who you are or what you do – instead it is surrendering to how you believe your life SHOULD look based on outside influences.  Let these beliefs or expectations go and surrender to the flow of life.  Let your inner power grow and from this place of personal power and freedom it is letting the fluidity of life open up the opportunities that are in alignment with your inner being.

We tend to struggle against life so often, which is exhausting!  Pushing our will and control onto how we believe life should be for us using outside comparisons and guidelines.  Going with the flow that is created from within lets life flow abundantly.  I believe that this is the energy of 2015. 

It will be easier for us to work with this energy and all have the opportunities for growth and results this year.  2014 was a big growth and inner reflection year, now we have the opportunity to work with the abundance of results and of really feeling that we are turning a corner and that all the hard work and inner reflection is paying off.

It feels to me like next year will be very different for those willing to surrender to the unknown and let the amazing opportunities open up from within themselves.
