What is God?

Here is a channelled (Soul Writing) excerpt from my new "Living with Soul Guidance Course".  In step 1 of this course I talk about Trusting our Soul.  Part of this step is understanding what the Soul is and also that our Soul connection allows us to also connect and awaken a God Connection (if you prefer to substitute the word God for Universe, Source, Creator, All that is etc that is OK)

What can connecting with God do for a human life
What can't it do.  Your lives here in the human body are very precious. They are sacred.  You think the energies you connect with are the sacred parts of your life but you have it in reverse.  You are sacred human beings.  Once you realise this and live and treat yourselves and each other as sacred, then you are living a life connected to God and Soul.  Most of you deny a god presence in your life because you don’t believe you are worthy, you believe in the human existence and the human condition which reinforces how helpless and hopeless your lives are.  If you can feel the god presence, the overwhelming power and presence that is inside each and every one of you, and realise that this IS you, your lives will change.

What is the key for us to change our lives and recognise the god presence within.
Just believe and trust. Some may call it faith because you can’t see and touch but oh boy can you feel.  Once you have felt the presence of god there is no turning back. And for those of you who recognise that this god presence is not outside of you it is within you then you are empowered. It is the fear based religions that recognised the power of god but didn’t recognise the self-worth and power it brought within, they treated the god presence as something outside of themselves and which they could only be rewarded with once they had died (gone to heaven) but as your songs say –heaven is on earth.  It is possible to be a part of god right now and right here. 
 
Is there anything else you can share about connecting with god
Just make sure you are going within.  No matter what you visualise or feel or how you get to connect with god, bring a very strong awareness to the fact you are connecting to what you already have inside of you.  You are god. You are all made of god and from god. God is not some elusive force outside of you.  This is the most important fact to be aware of.
